Berlin’s Noise Grunge Riot Grrrls 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN announce new album „GIFT“ & record release tour dates!
Shortly after the release of their debut album, the Berlin trio was already the talk of the town and filling the pages of the local music press. With their musical hybrid of punk, grunge and noise, 24/7 Diva Heaven create a world in which you can scream, scratch and bite – and end up hugging yourself. Fuzzy riffs meet catchy hooklines, political messages meet self-irony. 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN say what they think and hit a nerve: they deliver a soundtrack that fits right into these uncertain times, not resigning themselves to platitudes but leaving room for the in-between. Their rapidly growing fanbase and countless shows, including at WDR Rockpalast, Pop-Kultur Festival, as support for DREAM WIFE and BEATSTEAKS and a co-headlining tour with TEAM SCHEISSE, prove that the band is known above all for its massive sound and strong live performances. „The best thing I’ve seen live since NIRVANA,“ said one fan. The band is not only active in the rehearsal room and on stage, but also shows political commitment, among other things as founders of the Berlin collective GRRRL-NOISY, which organizes jam sessions and festivals and offers a place of networking for FLINTA musicians and music fans.
On October 11, 2024, their long-awaited second album „GIFT“ will be released on Noisolution, which seamlessly follows in the tradition of their debut „STRESS“ and will be presented live for the first time in autumn 2024 as part of an album release tour through selected cities. 24/7 DIVA HEAVEN’s second long-player features more nuanced songwriting without sounding any less angry. The album is angry, political and never at a loss for great melodies. „GIFT“ consolidates what was already in the pipeline on „STRESS“, resulting in an eclectic album somewhere between IDLES, PIXIES, PABST and MELVINS that boldly deconstructs the sound of old idols and reassembles it in a contemporary guise.
