And after the theft of art, they followed their compass to the sun: with their gripping signature sound of modern rock and centuries-old influences, In Extremo have not only shaped their own musical genre, but have also developed into probably the most famous and successful medieval rock band in the world, captivating a global audience of millions for almost three turbulent decades.
After seven precious metal-winning albums (no less than four of which reached 1st place in the German longplay charts), the tight-knit minstrels have now reunited to banish dark thoughts in uncertain times and to provide new courage, hope and plenty of good humor with „Wolkenschieber“!

With „Wolkenschieber“, the medieval rockers are finally sending their eagerly awaited new album on its way.
The long-player presents a mixture of gripping party and drinking songs, militant freedom songs and touching ballads that quickly gets into your blood, with which the band is now opening the next chapter in their work.
The new album conveys what In Extremo are all about in 2024 and what they have always stood for: For cohesion, for clear words and, of course, for lots of energy.
„Wolkenschieber“ will be released on 06.09.2024 via Universal Music in a versatile product range, including two standard versions as digisleeve and black double vinyl with 12 tracks, as well as two limited deluxe versions including two bonus tracks as CD in cross-digi with 20-page booklet and double vinyl in pearl look in 180gram with signed art print. There are also various bundle versions with the official „Wolkenschieber“ T-shirt and an exclusive „Wolkenschieber“ bitters.
